• Account Information: Owner name, shop name, phone number, email address (optional), and profile image provided during registration.
• Business & Customer Data: Customer/Supplier names, phone numbers, profile photos, and transaction records (credit/debit entries) entered manually by you.
• Device Identification: Device IDs (such as Android ID or unique hardware ID) collected solely for device-binding security, account authentication, and preventing unauthorized account sharing.
• Storage & Media: Temporary image access for uploading profile photos or customer pictures, and local storage permissions for generating PDF ledger reports.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely for the following purposes:

• To maintain and calculate your shop's daily ledger, sales history, and customer dues.
• To verify device ownership, enforce device-binding restrictions, and secure your account.
• To generate PDF transaction statements and allow sharing via WhatsApp upon your direct request.
• To verify account membership status and provide customer support.

3. Data Security & Storage

Your data is securely transmitted and stored on protected servers using industry-standard encryption protocols (HTTPS/SSL). We do not sell, rent, trade, or leak your personal or business ledger data to any third party.

4. Account and Data Deletion

You have full control over your data. You can request complete deletion of your account and associated transaction history at any time through our in-app feature or by visiting our Account Deletion Page: Request Account Deletion.

5. Third-Party Services

Our app uses trusted third-party service providers that may collect information used to identify your device:

• Google Play Services: App distribution, license verification, and update management.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): Push notifications for account updates and system alerts.

6. Permissions Requested

• Camera: Required to take live profile photos of the owner or customers.
• Storage / Media Access: Required for uploading profile pictures and exporting PDF ledger reports.
• Notifications: Required to display account updates and backup reminders.

7. Children's Privacy

SmartHisab is designed strictly for business owners and shopkeepers. It is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
